We are fully subscribed (which is a good problem) and we are hearing a whole bunch of new members incoming which we may not be able to handle on comp day. We would like to 'manage' new registrations for 2026 such that we would like to give returning members priority.

Currently, membership options do not link in any way to event divisions. This causes issues where athletes enter into divisions that they should not. For example, USASA have issues with snowboarders entering ski events, and visa versa. They also have issues age-group athletes enter the open division, and this can cause major issues for regional and national rankings

The ability to filter for Division in list of members in a series has been lost. This was available last year, and it is no longer available this year. This is a handy feature for keeping track of membership numbers in each division - particularly if we are trying to keep numbers in each division with a pre-determined limit (set by the club).

"I guess our issues arise around anyone being able to access the membership link and technically join the club. This can be concerning around whether they are members of other clubs etc. We have an automated email that they receive that states their membership is going to the committee for approval, but would ultimately love to prevent them from paying the fee etc in the first place. For me as a new user of Liveheats, I think the waitlisted or 'pending' option is just as important at the membership series as it is for events."

When new athletes sign up for a membership or event, they often don't enter their correct or full phone number. The validation of the phone number field is a bit too simple (only one digit required) and it doesn't prompt for country codes. This means athletes are able to proceed with an invalid phone number. Also, for international events a +## country code is necessary, but that can easily be left off because there is no option to select that or inform that it is needed.

At the moment, athletes need to buy a new membership rather than upgrade an existing membership

For IFSA, members need to purchase both a membership licence and pay for dues. It would be great to be able to select your membership type and region, and then get shown that you need to pay junior dues which gets added to your membership total.
