As organizations have different ways of breaking ties. It would be helpful to be able to have a drop down and let the organizations choose how they would like them to be broken. This ensures correct heat seeding and not ties shown on rankings.

Currently we have the ability to choose full event scores (ie 3 of 4 events, etc). It would be nice to be able to choose 1/2 of an event score (i.e. 2.5 out of 3). With reduced number of events, surfers take away half of their worst score from the three events. Removing a full event score introduces too much volatility and variance to be reliable. 2.5 is solid.

We've noticed that an athlete who doesn't finish still gets a ranking, last place. However in our Belgian Championship we've had a direct final, so no series. Therefore a DNF should not be getting a place/points.

It would be nice if we could pull a report showing top 3 of each event. Even when we make use of groups. This could be a lot more user friendly for the people handling the medal ceremony.

Very many rankings have the rule that marking someone as ineligible will move everyone below that athlete up in the rankings. Liveheats doesn't move athletes up.

I am a Team Manager Assistant for a Sydney Surf Life Saving Club, and our management team and nippers use Live Heats regularly throughout the season. Given the SLS competitions for this season has ended, we are currently busy analyzing results and preparing reports for end of year presentations and the yearbook etc. Is there a way to extract or download the event results for members of our club? Now we manually go into each event, then each Age group and each race, scroll to see the finals results and look for our Athletes names and type them into a spreadsheet. It is a very laborious task given we are a reasonably sized club. We would love a way to use our Team Manager access and download a report of raw data of all of our clubs' competitors results. This would allow us to use the data for Team selections, awards and reporting. Please let me know if this is something that is available now or can be developed for the future? I understand that there is a Ranking function for surfing, but it doesn't suit our SLS events.

The club leaderboard function gives points to those athletes/relays which are marked as DSQ or DNF in places that would be given points toward to club leaderboard

Instead of clicking on each athlete to see a detailed results, the ranking should show the points for all events and the total. This will give transparency and gives an overall view for everyone

Division names need to be spelt exactly the same to pull results into rankings and populate seeds. If there is any variation that will not pull across and require manual assistance from Liveheats Idea: Suggestion pop-up. “Did you mean ... division"?

For the 2024-2025 IFSA Junior Rankings, an athlete's top 3 results from their first 4 events in the season are used to calculate their rankings. Problem is, when an athlete is marked as DNS for an event they receive 0 points and in Liveheats, that counts as 1 of their first 4 events. In the IFSA rules, a DNS does not count as one of their first 4 events. The solution would be for DNS results to be excluded from the first 4 events that count towards ranking.
