When new athletes sign up for a membership or event, they often don't enter their correct or full phone number.

The validation of the phone number field is a bit too simple (only one digit required) and it doesn't prompt for country codes.

This means athletes are able to proceed with an invalid phone number. Also, for international events a +## country code is necessary, but that can easily be left off because there is no option to select that or inform that it is needed.
