Both for directors setting entry open and close times & athletes entering, the display of times will be fully daylight saving changes aware

To increase awareness of an event's registration window, we plan to display specified entry open and close dates and times on the public event page. This is particularly beneficial for high-demand events, such as those with limited spots or first-come, first-served entries. To prevent timezone errors, times will automatically display in the viewer's local timezone. A simple toggle will also allow anyone to instantly switch the view to the event's local timezone - perfect for travelling athletes or event directors managing international events.

We're introducing an optional setting for directors to specify gender eligibility for divisions. When enabled, this feature simplifies registration by showing athletes only the divisions they are eligible for. This saves them from manually searching for the correct category and reduces common registration errors, saving you time on support and corrections.

In AU and NZ, Liveheats will allow athlete registrations to be paid via BECS Direct Debit, in addition to our other payment options (debit/credit card, Apple pay, Google pay, etc)

Liveheats will be powering the athlete registration for all surf life saving in Australia in 2025-26 season. This work will make our registration solution fit-for-purpose for SLS entries.
