If so, we might be able to motivate the user (typically Mom) to provide a more meaningful picture.

We could present the member with an image to use (the default place holder illustrated below) which would be utilized anyway, however this may motivate the user to actually upload a “suitable” photo to use, making our content that much more personalized.
