Contact athletes via SMS

I just wanted to ask whether there has been any thought given to allowing event organisers to contact competitors via text message (SMS), similar to the existing email option available in the event dashboard.
The email feature works well, however many competitors don’t always check their emails before events, whereas they usually have their phones on hand. Having the option to send a text would be extremely valuable.
A good example of where this would help is when an event is scheduled but we don’t want to publicly advertise exact heat start times. Being able to directly message the first one or two heats via SMS would help ensure a smooth and timely start to the day.

The ability to text would be handy for sure. Not sure about the "secret start times" use, thats a bit weird, a schedule should suffice.

Paul Krahulec it’s not “secret start times” but we don’t usually publish the full schedule until the start of the event, as we try and get all down to the beach to assist with setup, judging etc, and to enjoy the surf, sun & company. Being able to text the first 2 heats, ensures we can start on time.
