A livespeaker's view, which combines the key information any commentator needs during a competition. My focus is from surfing (ocean, pool, stationary, river)
The key features I use and which could be added:
Live scoring of two banks (simultaneously, not interchanging as in the spectators' view) including the Head Judge view of the unpublished scores but if possible not in the colors' row (red, white...) but in the current standings' row (1st, 2nd...) or with a clear visible 1/2... that is not depending on the window size used. This view must contain the names of the athletes (because in the HJ view the comp direction can hide the names). Best if the view can be set according to the real setup (Left/Right) as we have e.g. at Alaïa Bay a change of the bank/side during the heats.
A nice feature would be a screen blinking set to a defined time on the countdown, so you don't miss a time cue. I often have to do announcements at 10min/5min... so this could help.
An overview of the programm (as in the specators' view) and an overview of the competition (the "tree").
A clean, editable window to add any notes.
I'm thinking of a multiscreen view with split windows, that can be adjusted in size or a general overview an you can click in for details or a tabbed view...

And an inclusion of the next heat's athlete names in that screen. Also for the commentators, if athletes have a profile picture it can be hard to tell which colour that athlete is in as it's only a thin ring of colour. So for the commentator screen it could only have the athlete's colour, not profile pic"
